Desert Contrasts

J Merilee Adams' needed to only look into her back yard to find the natural equivalent of the bold lines and shapes she favored as a sculptor; the desert she calls home is full of it. The desert contrasts collection shows a period when Adams saw her surroundings in high contrast, exaggerating the lines and features of desert around her into bold, imposing statements.
